Soul Influence in Partnership with Compassion Canada
A Collaboration Set to Change Children’s Lives in Africa.
Toronto, ON June 1, 2006 – Soul Influence has partnered with Compassion Canada in order to raise awareness of the plight of children around the world; specifically Africa.
At any given Soul Influence concert the group will invite their audiences to make a difference by sponsoring a child. The group will also have in display at their concert venues, Compassion Canada materials about child sponsorship giving the attending audience an opportunity to immediately become a child sponsor.
Soul Influence will be working expressly to help raise awareness of the Child Sponsorship Program and the Community Development Programs. The group whose mission is to change lives one song at a time, by reaching out to both the local and universal community and in so doing better the society we live in says that “In the anxiously paced world we live in, it is each of us should be able to stop and take the time to help a child in need.”
Compassion Canada’s work spans over 50 years, from modest beginnings in 1952 when one man was compelled to help 35 orphaned children in South Korea. Today Compassion helps more than 770,000 children in more than 20 countries who all benefit from that original vision. They have consistently received the highest ratings for financial integrity and program excellence.
